SS7 stack: narrowband, broadband and NGN networks


Netbricks SS7 stack called NSP-BRICKS is a portable software package implementing the Network Service Part of Signaling System #7 (SS #7, SS7 or C7) for Narrow and Broadband networks as welle as Next Generation IP networks.

Our SS7 stack is fully compliant with following standards :

MTP Message Transfer Part
  MTP Narrow band : ITU-T Q.701, Q.702, Q.703, G.704, G.707 and ANSI publications T1.111 and China SS7
  MTPb Broadband : ITU G.704, Q.2110, Q.2140, Q.2144
SCCP Signaling Connection Control Part ITU-T Q.711, Q.712, Q.713, Q.714, Q.715, Q.716 and ANSI publications T1.112
TCAP Transaction capabilities ITU Q,771, Q772, Q773 and Q774 and ANSI publications T1.114
ISUP Call Control : ITU Q.761, Q.762, Q.763 and Q.764.

NSP-BRICKS is also compliant with SIGTRAN-BRICKS through M2UA, SUA and M3UA for SS7 over IP networks. High availability multi-processor configuration are supported using SS7 built-in redundancy management.

NSP-BRICKS is based on NETBRICKS architecture using object oriented design and on a message passing mechanism for inter-entity communication. Interfaces to most of commercial OS and RTOS are provided : Windows NT/2000/XP, Linux RedHat, Embedded Linux (Monta Vista), Solaris (32/64bits), VxWorks, AMX, Nucleus, PSOS+, OSE, RTC, VRTX, ...
